I’m Mostafa Soly.
I’m an Egyptian filmmaker who moves between commercials, TV series, and narrative films, depending on the story and the people around it.

I care deeply about casting and performance. For me, directing always starts with the human being, not the frame. If a performance feels real, everything else can be built around it.

I don’t chase formulas. I follow instinct. I’m drawn to stories that feel familiar but unsettling, funny but emotional.

Some of my work has been recognized internationally, including awards for Best Short Film at the Montreal Independent Film Festival and the Toronto Feature Film Festival.
